Join us for a panel discussion focused on the joys and challenges of life in a “blended family.” Four of the field’s foremost experts with, together, over eleven decades of experience as therapists, family life educators, and researchers working with stepfamilies, will lead the discussion. Each will share what they have learned about helping stepfamily members face some of the common, and not so common, challenges associated with being part of a “blended family.” The last half of the event will be set aside for audience participation and Q&A.
This event is free and open to the public. Stepparents, parents, couples, and grandparents, as well as adolescents, young adults and adults in “blended families” are encouraged to attend as are the therapists, social workers, and counselors who work with blended families.
