About Us

The Philadelphia Association for Couple and Family Psychology is a non-profit organization created to:

 

1.  provide a community of support and education for mental health providers of Couples and Family Psychology in the greater Philadelphia area

2.  provide a resource for professionals and laypeople looking to find a qualified Couple and Family Psychology providers &

3.  provide a richer understanding of the importance of systemic thinking and the clinical impacts of systemic psychotherapy.

The PACFP is dedicated to create and support a network of Couple and Family Psychology providers within Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. This network, like any well-functioning system, would provide a source of strength, community and support for its members. This includes CEU lecture events, updates in mental health legislation and public policy, social gatherings and facilitated peer mentoring groups as well as notifications of new and ongoing research opportunities.
